Pictured is the wiring diagram for the Fox-Paws Model 400

120-volt A.C.  is attached to the terminal block on the left-hand side, to power the unit.

White-common, Green-ground, Black-hot.

The right-hand side is the contactor.

In the diagram, contractor lugs 1 & 2 are controlling 2 Start/Stop stations.

To connect Fox-Paws Model 400 to the Start/Stop station. With electrical power off, remove cover of Start/Stop station. Let cover hang in air or support on a none connecting material, like dry wood / plastic. Turn power on, use 120–600-volt A.C. tester and locate live wire on Stop push button of the Start/Stop station. Turn power off, remove this wire and secure it to terminal 1 of Fox-Paws contactor. Take another wire of the same size and connect to terminal 2 of Fox-Paws contactor and secure the other end, back on the Stop push button of the Start/Stop station. This circuit is now controlled by the Fox-Paws unit. To add another; Start/Stop station, follow the diagram or depending on the application you can use the auxiliary circuit 3 & 4 of the contactor.

Each set of contacts of the contactor are rated for 30 amps. The voltage of the Start/Stop station must not exceed 600 volts.

When transmitter button is push, the transmitter sends signal to the receiver, the receiver shuts electricity off to the contactor inside the Fox-Paws Model 400, which in turns shuts electricity off to the Start/Stop station of the electric motor. The motor stops.

When using the Fox-Paws Model 400 in a grain bin application, it is necessary to always keep the grain bin man door open while a person is inside.
